Spiritual Adoption

This liturgical year, 2020-21, many of our parishioners are participating in a 'Spiritual Adoption.' They have chosen one person, usually someone close to them or whom they care about, and are praying for their conversion or return to the Catholic faith. The names are confidential and a silent bond between pray-er and adoptee.
Each week, Father suggests a different prayer or action as an intention for our spiritual adoptee. We are asked to pray or act each day of the week. The commitment of focused prayer is powerful for the adoptee and spiritually rewarding for the pray-er.
The suggested prayers or actions are in each week's bulletin and are also reproduced here.
For the week of March 8-14:

NEW! Formation for Spiritual Adoption
Come join us for a six-week series of Evangelization with Chris Stefanick. We will watch a series of short videos that will cover the Gospel message that changed the world and teach us how to convey it to change the hearts of those around us. We will also unpack the seven habits of highly effective evangelization as well as disciplines that we need to develop in our personal lives to become more impactful.
This will be a six-week course starting Thursday, March 4, from 6-7 PM and continue on each Thursday with a break for Spring break and Easter. You can join us either in person or on Zoom. The Zoom link is: https://
