Return of Public Masses

Our Vigil Mass is now celebrated at 5 PM on Saturday and three Sunday Masses at 8 AM, 10 AM, and NOON (Spanish) -- all at St. Katharine Drexel Parish Church. There are currently no Masses scheduled at the mission churches.

You are encouraged to arrive early; doors open 30 minutes before the start of Mass. Seating is first-come, first-seated. If the church reaches capacity (still restricted to 100 persons), overflow seating will be in the hall, where the Mass audio is streamed and we will provide for Communion.

Continuing our practice, upon arrival, you will be asked to sign in, and an usher will seat you.

You can always attend a weekday Mass in place of a Sunday Mass as there is no obligation to attend on Sunday for now.

Visit our Mass Times page to see the daily Mass times.

More details are below in Fr. Colin's two-page letter below. However, the guidelines above supersede some of the information in the letter. (Mobile device users, click on the letter and it will download to your device, where it is then scrollable.)

Called together by Jesus Christ, who came to restore us to friendship with the Father, we continue the work of our Savior to bring salvation to all peoples through the life-giving Church He established.

Inspired by the example of St. Katharine Drexel, we strive to serve the Lord by:

  • Making the Eucharist the source and summit of our lives

  • Building intentional community

  • Preaching the Gospel to the people of Amador County

  • Forming missionary disciples

  • Reaching out to those in need
