Catholics Returning Home

Have you been away from the Church for awhile or know someone who has? Have you ever thought of returning? If so, we would like to welcome you back.

Let us help you strengthen your relationship with Christ. No matter how long you have been away and no matter what the reason, we invite you to consider renewing your relationship with the Catholic Church.

St. Katharine Drexel Parish is hosting a free six-week course beginning Sunday, September 8, and continuing each Sunday through October 13 (NOTE: The course has been extended two Sundays, October 20 and 27, for those who wish to freshen up on the Order of the Mass).

  • St. Katharine Drexel Parish Center

  • 11 AM to 1 PM, following the 9:30 AM Mass on Sunday

  • Coursework, support, and dialog to aid you in returning to the Catholic Church will be provided.

Please contact Mitch Alaire at 707-330-7416 or email her at for more information.

Called together by Jesus Christ, who came to restore us to friendship with the Father, we continue the work of our Savior to bring salvation to all peoples through the life-giving Church He established.

Inspired by the example of St. Katharine Drexel, we strive to serve the Lord by:

  • Making the Eucharist the source and summit of our lives

  • Building intentional community

  • Preaching the Gospel to the people of Amador County

  • Forming missionary disciples

  • Reaching out to those in need
